Boise's North End

Boise's North End is a very hip place to live. Some homes date back to the early 1900's and run the gamut of old, remodeled and cool to old and badly in need of repair. There is very little new construction. You can walk or bike to Hyde Park which offers casual dining on outdoor patios. Have lunch or après' skiing drinks with friends. You will see a lot of Subaru’s with bike racks and dogs with bandanas instead of collars. A coffee shop is never far and the famous Food Co-op is a neighborhood landmark. The hardwood trees lining the streets turn in the fall giving it a New England look. Prices are high but so is the resale value. Watch for code violations and buried fuel oil tanks from yesteryear.
